    Hello,

Stripe still does not send emails. I can get woocommerce to send an email for all my needs except for a refund, when it occurs. Currently, when an order occurs in paypal, paypal sends an email and so does woocommerce, which is what I would like to happen. Currently, if the customer orders via stripe they only get the woocommerce email and they do not receive an email at all for a refund. Below is the link to my site:

    Peter,
I’m not aware of where that setting would be because I’m unable to get the stripe plug in to send emails. I would think the answer to my problem would likely solve yours as well. Please let me know if your problem gets solved.

    Thank you

    Hello again,

Thank you for going above and beyond and noticing that I am using The Retailer theme and also looking at the coding for that. I will try to look at that tonight when I get home because in the past when I have tried to do coding changes I was unsuccessful and now that my site is live I do not want the possiblity of messing it up unless I am at home.

I am using a child theme. Would all I need to do is remove the “display: block !important;” or just remove the !important?

    Thank you,

    Hello,

Thank you for the very quick reply. I tried it and while it did fix the proceed to checkout text it did not fix the place order button and cancel button. I also noticed that on the product page it made the Paypal Express button very large, although I did like how it chose my custom paypal image and not just the default one.

I will be looking for the update soon.

Thank you again for your great customer support. I am extremely satisfied with it and your plug in is great especially for a free one. I am very likely to give a donation once my website gets up and going well.

    Thank you,

Hello and thank you for the very quick reply,

Guest check out is enabled and billing was already set.

If you scroll to the very bottom of the link below, please ignore the images at the top, you will see an example of what I am referring to.

I believe I have figured it out. I do not believe paypal express uses the checkout page and paypal does which would explain why that is picked up on paypal but not express. I have been thinking of possibly putting a text block on the product page and if I do so I would no longer be using the checkout page for the order notes so this would not be relavent.

I appreciate your prompt assistance with this, your customer service has been great.

    Thanks again

    Hello again,

Please see the above mentioned link again. I have added two additional pictures to the bottom of the post. One is of the top of an real order that I paid using paypal express and the last picture is the bottom half which represents the entire order section of this transaction. I do not see any comments anywhere on this, but I hope I am overlooking them. While I do not remember the exact comment I typed it likely is something along the lines of temp, temporary, test and likely some variation of jhm. I was typing some random stuff but that was the general pattern as I was testing it. Please let me know your thoughts and I will be glad to provide any further information.

Thank you for assistance and prompt responses.

As you can see from the link below (you may have to zoom in to see it clearly) the first two I used my sandboxed paypal non-express and the order notes showed up. I am working on getting my website completed thus the use of the sandbox and all of these are fake orders that I made testing out the comments. My wife makes monogramed shirts and as you can see from the fifth image she expects them to put their initials for the shirts in the order notes area on the checkout page. When I use the paypal express you can clearly see how there are no Order notes or customer notes listed. I also tried a real test using my personal information and it did the same thing.

Two additional issues that I discovered today is that when I enable this plug in it moves the text in the proceed to check out button, please see the bottom two images in the link. It is no longer centered and when I disable the plug in it is centered. The second new issue is the cancel order button at the final review page. I am unaware of a way to check the final review page after I disable the plug in, but when it is enabled the text for the cancel order is several times larger than the place order button. I would personally like to make the place order button much more obvious.

    Thank you for your assistance,

    Ivy
