Facebook isn’t any help. After playing around with it for weeks i finally got it to work.
For my situation, i searched on my booking website (aquity scheduling) to see if there was a way to disconnect from there.
Here are the steps.
1. Click “Integrations” under Business Settings.
2. Under Facebook Business & Instagram, click “Edit”, “Enable” or “Connect To Facebook”
3. Scroll towards bottom click “Disconnect From Facebook”
4. Once disconnected, click “Connect to Facebook”.
5. After it redirects you to Facebook, click either “Continue as “___” or “Log Into Another Account” if the account connected is not correct.
6. It will ask you to connect the website to Facebook, click “Continue”.
7. Confirm settings, click “Continue”.
8. It will ask what is the website allowed to do. It will let you know what is required. Click “Next.”

YOU’RE ALL SET – CLICK DONE!

Now i’m sure all websites are not the same, i would assume to look where you can link integrations/buttons directly on that site & it will tell you the exact steps to follow.
After following the above steps on my booking site, i’m finally able to link it directly to my business page.

@imazed – hello, i have admin access and assigned all assets ( full control) to myself already – this is still not working. I am still not able to add the “book now” tool on my facebook page. It is not clear on what else needs to be done.
