WordPress does work toward WCAG 2.1 AA, but there’s no official list of the exact criteria that Core fully meets. Theme compliance is also not documented with a “50-criteria checklist,” even for accessibility-ready themes.
Since WordPress doesn’t provide a VPAT/ACR, full WCAG compliance still requires testing your actual site (theme + plugins + content). There’s no way to skip testing all success criteria if you need formal compliance.
