it is impossible to track if someone has shared or not the link. I could only track if the subscriber has clicked on the link for sharing. But he/she may not make the final action of sharing through the popup window so he/she would get a new entry point just by clicking the link.

That’s not something I intend to implement, but I do have in my roadmap implementing other ways of getting new entries such as liking a Facebook page, following on Twitter and such. That’s a much better way of getting “free” entries in my own opinion since it’s kind of trackable (can’t track if the user has unfollowed or unliked).

Hi, the fatal error says that the plugin class is already there. This means that the free plugin is still in use.

Deactivating the free one before activating the premium one will help.

Hi @topherjamessf, I am really glad you like the plugin! Since the share link is used for one single giveaway, there is no way to change the link.

For changing the link, the complete sharing system would have to be rewritten in a different way. Yours is the first request for this. I am putting in the roadmap as a feature request but for a future version.

If there are more requests for this, I’ll make it available in a sooner version.

I would guess that your homepage does include the giveaway as a widget or a shortcode?

You can put your logo and link to it on the giveaway page. Another way is to put the link in the text of the giveaway. Those are all of the possibilities, for now.

Can you tell me which ones? “Everything but..” is not helping me solve your issue 🙂

There can only be a few of them so you can’t have everything since some of the buttons are shown only in specific situations.

the placeholders will create a text link, it will be a http:// link but it won’t create the HTML markup for the link. That is because this placeholders might be used differently and maybe someone wants to wrap the link with a text for example:

<a href="{{ACTIVATE_LINK}}">Activate by clicking here</a>

it seems that the error is happening due to something caught in the software I use for providing premium updates.

Can you contact me with on my own site ibenic.com with temporary credentials so I can access it and see what is going on? I’ll let the Freemius team also know about it and they might help here too. Just contact me through my site 🙂

There was no folder change in the plugin so if that happened it might have to do with something else on your server.

Hi @rolandlia, there is an Activation in the General Settings in 2.11.0.

They can still collect the entries but until they have activated their account, they won’t be able to win.

There might be a conflict with another plugin then since I’ve tried it on several sites and had no issue.

Could you provide me with temporary login credentials to your site so I can see what is causing that issue?
