In reply to: homepage won't loadi just got it working..took me 4 hours…insatlled a plugin called Permalink Fix & Disable Canonical Redirects Pack and also had to alter the htaccess file…bloody hell that was frustrating..

In reply to: homepage won't loadwell i deleted them in admin and don’t appear now looking thru ftp. nothing has chnaged i’m sure i’ve done something stupid, it cannot read the homepage http://www.domain.com, but if i randomnly drop onto the server an index,html page it shows that for homepage, but when i remove this it shows the error page again.
i pasted a thankyou page for the contact form module in its edit area..so it was like http://www.domain.com/3553-2 (that was the perma link i saw in the thankyou page) everything went wrong after that.
I can’t resolve this,it seems to be looking for the homepage but doesn’t know what it is, all other pages exist still and i view them.
