Thanks for sharing the link. What other details can I provide to help you understand better?
When I click “Check Redirect”, the URL string is not matching. Could be third one on the list from the link you shared? Do you I need to use RegEx?
How I’m adding Source URL.
- When I copy and paste the URL (without RegEx): https://www.example.com/example.php?Action=1&k=aetna-drug-rehab&PageID=351373
- The Redirection plugin automatically changes the Source URL to: https://www.example.com/example.php%3FAction%3D1%26k%3Daetna-drug-rehab%26PageID%3D351373 (the symbols ?, = and & have automatically changed).
- When I click “Check Redirect”, the plugin is only checking this URL https://www.example.com/example.php%3FAction%3D1%26k%3Daetna-drug-rehab%26PageID%3D351373. It is not checking the version that I copied and pasted.
- When I copy and paste this URL in to the browser, it still loads with 200 OK without any redirect: https://www.example.com/example.php?Action=1&k=aetna-drug-rehab&PageID=351373 (I want this to be the Source URL)
Thanks John for your response.
I’m not currently using RegEx.
I also checked on Chrome Incognito and different browsers so I don’t think it’s a caching issue.
I can’t share the website as I have an NDA signed with the client but here’s a couple of screenshots: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1sjjxIVF8LhT1doNvX_k9BaLqEk9QtRZuBcvpNAc3_1o/edit#slide=id.g2464591daaa_0_0
