ghosttie’s point can perhaps be clarified by pointing out that pingpress and ping.fm maintain its WordPress’ fault since WordPress uses non-HTML code inside HTML and thereby breaks usability/interchangeability.
I’m basically having the same problem as ghosttie. I use the qTranslate WordPress plugin and my posts show up on Facebook with [lang_en] and [lang_is] still in them.
