Thanks for the information.
Yes, the roles option was because of another plugin. We have deactivated it as it was not working as expected and purchased MMM pro instead.
It seems to be working fine now.

I am selecting the roles for the menu from the dashboard under the item: Appearance > Menu
Please have a look at the screenshot I have linked here. So in this case, the ‘Hosting Profile’ menu items should be visible to logged-in users with role of ‘BYTFrontendSubmitRole’. Atleast I hoping that it is the case. However, it is not visible as I explained in my previous post.
Does it mean that I have buy MMM pro to have role based setting to get this working as I can see here : http://www.maxmegamenu.com/upgrade/?utm_source=free&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=pro ?

Just to add, the role ‘byt_frontend_contributor’ that I am referring to is a custom role. And we are at the moment not using pro version. Does it mean that multiple roles are not supported if it is not a pro version ?
