I have just solved this myself. I had to go into: Users – my admin profile – then uncheck (Disable the visual editor when writing) and save changes.

Click on the url to see the screenshot of what I see. Under the “Add Media” button, is it supposed to look like this? Or is there supposed to be buttons to edit the text. for example font (to change font, size etc), paragraph layout etc etc?
I tried Disable Visual Editor and that didn’t change what I see.
