In reply to: [Attitude] Remove or edit info in footer? You shouldn’t change anything in the parent theme like renaming its folder.
Keep everything in the parent theme the same and don’t blank or delete anything, just create a new folder in wp-contents/themes and call it attitude-child or something. Put the new stylesheet in that folder and create a functions.php file in that folder and add the code.

Duh, I just had to select the custom menu from the drop down box. It was unselected on the child.

In reply to: Images not working after migrationAh nevermind, I got it to work.
For some reason the file permissions were set to 0700 for folders in wp-content and the files were set to 0600. I had to change them to 0755 and 0644 respectively, everything works fine now.

In reply to: Where to put plugin shortcode in my themeYeah I’ve put the shortcode in the content area of the theme options and it just shows the shortcode text on the home page with the rest of the text I’ve put there.
Other changes are working and I haven’t had the same issues with other themes.
I may try a different theme.

In reply to: Where to put plugin shortcode in my themeOk I’ve entered the word “test” and the shortcode in the content box in the pages section and saved.
But the home page is still the same without the shortcode or the word test showing up anywhere.

In reply to: Where to put plugin shortcode in my themeFront page is set to Sample page.
The sample page content when I go to pages is completely different to what’s shown on the home page. What’s shown on the home page is what I’ve entered under the theme options, but what’s shown on the sample page content under pages is the default wordpress sample page.

In reply to: Where to put plugin shortcode in my themeAlso, the permalink for the sample page is the same link as the home page. But the content is completely different, it doesn’t correlate to what’s shown on the home page at all.
