In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Bulk Optimize Fails – Use Cloud API instead? Thanks. I let it run and got “Operation timed out, you may need to increase the max_execution_time for PHP” (which was already done). It’s set at 180 secs.
My memory_limit is 512MB currently
So, I can perhaps open a ticket with DreamHost (or maybe @ipstenu can just do it for me – grin).

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Bulk Optimize Fails – Use Cloud API instead?Awesome to have Mika on this thread as well. I just switched over from Server to Cloud version (purchased APIs).
First, I didn’t delete the Server version, I just disabled it. When activating the Cloud version, much of my same settings were active (should I have deleted Server version?).
Second, I believe DreamHost/Press updated my max_execution_time. I will let @ipstenu address the memory allocation.
Third, just tried running the bulk optimize. It’s still hanging (“did not complete, will try again”).So, should I fully delete both plugins and start again from scratch?
Should I try a “force reoptimize”?Looking forward to getting this working!

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Bulk Optimize Fails – Use Cloud API instead? Thanks for the quick response. I’m on DreamPress (the DreamHost WordPress service). They have a dynamic memory allocation I believe and while I can ask to up the memory allocation, they might not do it.
So, if I were to switch over to the cloud version of the plugin, should I fully delete the server version (what I have now) or just disable?
And, moving forward, once I bulk optimize using the Cloud version and get everything optized (and purged from my CDN), would I then move back to the server version (which seems to work fine for small, article-related uploads)?
Thanks!

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Excessive Reoptimization detectedOk good point. I moved away from YAARPP because of errors it was throwing recently and the fact it hadn’t been updated. Any recommendations on similar plugins to Zemanta that play nice with your plugin?
Thx!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Excessive Reoptimization detectedArgh. So what do you recommend I do? I can contact them if that does anything…but is there a setting in your plugin that I can turn off to prevent this? (Love your plugin btw!)

In reply to: After upgrade to 4.7, can’t access AdminCorrect. It was an endless loop. Login – no database upgrade needed – homepage redirect.
UPDATE: I redownloaded WP 4.7 (this time it wasn’t called “latest.zip” but rather “WordPress-4.7.zip” and I manually reinstalled (deleted wp-admin & wp-includes and replaced *.php files and uploaded the 2 directories) and I got prompted to upgrade my DB. After that, I WAS able to access the Admin page.
So perhaps there was a file difference between the two zipped files? Or something was updated? Unsure.
Any ideas? Regardless, it’s working now (not banging my head).
Thx!

In reply to: After upgrade to 4.7, can’t access AdminHaha, yeah sorry.
I get to the “No Update required” page (for the DB) with this string in the URL –> “/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2Fupdate-core.php” and it redirects me to my home page.

In reply to: Can’t access Dashboard after update to WP 4.7Removed my reply and starting another thread since this was marked resolved.

Ok I resolved this. It was “All In One WP Security & Firewall” plugin setting of blocking fake googlebots. It turns out, it was blocking real googlebots.
Marking as resolved (due to “user error”).
Anybody else having issues with the empty sitemap within Google Webmaster Tools? This only started happening recently after the latest update I believe. Again, sitemap is viewable in browser. Ran a “Fetch as Google” within GWT and the page renders. But on testing within Sitemaps area, it continues to show “empty sitemap.”
Driving me crazy…

In reply to: [Amazon Product in a Post Plugin] Images over SSLI too would like to have this enabled. I see the check box but it says “coming soon”. Most of my mixed HTTP/S content is from this plugin (a great plugin, BTW).
I would love to get more information about how you resolved this. Could you provide some details?
@mikechallis – Thanks for the recommendations. So, it isn’t when a form is being submitted. It’s simply when I test to see if varnish is “working” using the site that I mentioned in my original post, it says “sort of”. When I disable JUST your plugin, it says that varish IS completely working.
I turned that “Use PHP Sessions” on to test as well but it didn’t make a difference. I will turn it off. Also, I eliminated captcha to see if that might be causing issues.
I used to use W3TC but have disabled just because I have varnish, a CDN and CloudFlare already running.

In reply to: [Login Lockdown & Protection] Locks out my site's IP@michael – thanks for the detailed information. I will definitely take a look at the logs to see what is going no. Do note, my site is on a dedicated server so no noisy neighbors to worry about.
I’ll let you know what I find out if anything.

In reply to: [Login Lockdown & Protection] Locks out my site's IP@michael – It’s a public installation. I have a variety of “unique” configs including a CDN, nginx and many plugins. It was listing the public IP of my actual server. I would remove the IP from the blocked IP list which would let me in, but then after a second or two, the IP address would magically reappear.
Honestly, I don’t know how long this has been going on…could be recently. (I know, I’m not providing much info for you to run with here.)
But one work-around would be to have a “white list” (similar to what I have seen in other similar plugins) where I could list the IP.
Thoughts?
