This is not a priority for us, just a bug I thought you should know about.
You should have received an email already with login info for the website.
You can see the table at http://kevind101.sg-host.com/shop/
You can see on this product I have selected a variation as the default: http://kevind101.sg-host.com/product/9-inch-biomarkers-terra-cotta/
The default is “15 markers $29.95”
But in your table on the /shop page it still defaults to “Choose an option”.
Yes, but this isn’t related to the customization. This is a bug.

In reply to: filter custom post types by category@bcworkz thanks! I actually can’t figure out how the original developer even registered the CPT honestly. There’s no CPT plugin and nothing in the functions.php file so I’ll have to track them down and ask.
Yes there’s certainly a lot of annoying fanboi stuff out there. Everytime Gutenberg updates and adds some tiny insignificant feature, bloggers blog about it and gush about how we don’t need pagebuilders anymore 🤣

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Query block doesn’t allow filter by Category for custom post typesThis is the “Requests and Feedback” forum, which has the tagline “Feature requests, criticism”.
My feature request, as plainly described in my OP, is to be able to filter custom post types by category.
My criticism is that DooDooBerg is trash compared to even the most basic web builders and I’m tired of all the dumb blog posts about GutenBerg being the page builder killer. GB is like a Ford Model T and page builders are brand new GT Mustangs.
If y’all want GB to actually catch on you’ll need these super basic features like filtering custom post types by category.
