    Hi Brojan,

Thanks for the response – I appreciate it.

Teacher email notifications aren’t just useful, they are an essential part of a good LMS to enable tracking of learners as they progress through courses – it is hard to understand why WPMUDEV have left this out as CoursePress has many other good features.

I have to justify any plug-in purchases to my boss and I’m not sure what they’ll think if I say that I’d like to use CoursePress Pro but it is missing an essential feature that our course teachers have requested, but that it might have it at some point in the future but you don’t know when (I notice from the thread that integration with Automessage was last mentioned by Marko in January – and we are now in March with no ETA).

I hope you can understand my situation – I would love to use CoursePress (Pro) but I will find it hard to justify the expenditure when my boss asks why it hasn’t got email notifications for teachers. Even if this was a feature that you had to purchase the Pro version to obtain.

Any information you could provide to help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi David,

Thanks for your quick and helpful reply.

Sorry, I am not great at understanding code – does Hoang’s code you provided just send a notification when a student enrols on a course? It looks that’s what it does to me but I may be misinterpreting it.

What I (and most most other LMS admins) really need are notifications when a student completes a quiz, finishes a unit and finishes a course – so we can monitor their ongoing progress through a course.

Would you be able to please provide code for these types of notifications? Are there hooks for these other types of notifications? If not there should be 🙂

    Thanks.
