Hi!! I was already using the 2025 theme but I had created a Front Page template. At the time time, it seemed a good idea. I noticed I was the author of it and not 2025 so I removed it and now the page is still using the Pages template and is seen even as the static home page. Hooray! It must have been a template conflict of some sort. Thank you!!
Also note that when I published it, the page automatically set to the front page template, which is why I thought changing it would work but it doesn’t. and any time I go to edit, it says front page template, even when I try to change it. When I deselect static home page, the page goes back to the Pages template and it’s fine.
