I’d like to know this too. I downloaded the placeholder image and it’s huge. I made my images exactly 50% preserving dimensions, but it doesn’t show all of the image. I can’t afford unnecessarily big files on the site I’m working on, so for now it will have to do. It would be good to know if I can put in images that are the right size, and what the right size actually is.
