In reply to: [Google Authenticator] Field for GA code is not displaying, I am locked out !Looks like you have some sort of theme on the loginpage not compatible with the plugin.
In order to get access to your installation, you could FTP/SSH to your webhost and simply delete the google authenticator pluginBest regards

In reply to: [Google Authenticator] Adding users to siteHi
You simply do nothing 🙂 Just create your users, the 2FA isn’t a default requirement, users have to enable it.Best regards

In reply to: [Google Authenticator] WordPress iOS app & preview postSounds like the preview feature requires you to perform a “normal” ie non-apppassword based login.
I can’t do anything about that.
Guess someone should create a feature request for the WordPress core developers asking them to make 2FA a build-in feature in the WordPress core, I’m pretty sure they would make it work well with the Android/iOS apps as well then.
Best regards

In reply to: [Google Authenticator] Is action on failed login safe?Originally I didn’t reveal any information about what went wrong in case of a failed login. I was then contacted by a WordPress developer that informed that was not the WordPress way of doing things.
Then I changed it to the current state. It’s kinda hard to make everyone happy 🙂
Best regards

In reply to: [Google Authenticator] How do I Get Backup Codes? No it does not, in such a situation you FTP or SSH to your account and remove/rename the wp-content/plugins/google-authenticator directory.
Then you will be able to login without the 2. factor.Best regards

In reply to: [Google Authenticator] Multiple user problemHi
You should not see other users secret, that’s a personal thing.I would do something like this.
Create users as normal.
Inform users that 2 factor authentication is available on their account and they should enable it.Best regard

In reply to: [Google Authenticator] Multiple user problemHi
That is the way it’s supposed to work, the user has to setup things himself, you should not know other users passwords/secrets.
But you as an admin can help a users in case he locks himself out. ie disable the plugin for him/herBest regards
