Yes, I have set up this and used a role plugin to define capabilities. Plus used a dashboard hide plugin. BUT a user can still se the Manage Tab and Comments Tab as they can not use these options anyway. All I want them to see is the Post tab and without the text ‘Please upgrade to wordpress 2.5.1’.
Grate idea, But it is not working. There is not a single classified add plugin that is working.

I have installed the BBpress forum but my web page went crazy. I
could not login to the admin panel. and nly the front page was working.
Not sure if I will try again.
