I dumped the class tag from the indicated <ul> on our internal test site and that didn’t fix the problem. Are the parent <div> classes possibly problematic also?

I found the answer in customizing the function indicated here: http://wp-event-organiser.com/forums/topic/change-default-order/
Unfortunately, I think that change will get overwritten the next time Event Organizer is updated.
Is there a way to preserve that change?
