@joyously doesn’t wordpress however write to the database when you manually create a menu in the backend?
@developress I already made sure to assign the menu to its location.

Thanks for your reply. Is there another way to implement a privacy policy checkbox that has a link to another page which is required to check? When using a regular checkbox field the red star that indicates it’s required to check the box appears on top of the checkbox when you hide the label, which looks weird.
