I’ve found a solution regarding the postal code after searching rigorously, in case anyone may benefit from it, the link is below:
https://wpforms.com/developers/how-to-add-an-input-mask-to-the-international-postal-code/#q-how-can-i-add-a-specific-input-mask-for-a-uk-address
However, the issue about the town field not being removable is a big issue which I am still unable to resolve.
I would also like to enquire if there’s anything I’m doing wrong as I’m trying to receive the form submission via email as well as have the sender receive the form submission via email too, having followed the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NhfrXasti0, it still doesn’t seem to work.
Please kindly advise, I would really appreciate it.Hi Ralden
Thank you so much for taking the time to record that screencast and for assisting me with this issue.
I have tested it with WP Forms widget itself as you demonstrated and have found that it shows the message notification now on the page, however, I noticed that I can submit odd values per field for example numbers for the name, address and submit text instead of the postal code in the postal code field and I also would like to remove the town field.
I have the following questions:
Is there any way to ensure all fields correspond with the correct data type such as the postal code and other fields such that incorrect data types cannot be used for such fields? – To restrict it to a specific data type?
Is there any way to remove the town field? – I haven’t seen an option to remove this field.
Thank you so much and look forward to your response.
