The problem has been solved. It turns out that it had to to with the configuration of Zend, or so I was told.
A known problem, good to know.
No luck with upgrade.php, unfortunately.
I’m running a blog where a jury is adding long comments to posts, so the ability to edit comments is a big feature for me.
I could give 1.3 a try for the next round.
