Now it seems that the plug in has been pulled from the WP directory.

I am having the same issue. Skyscraper won’t work in my 3.3.2 install. It’s the 4/26 version of the plug in that I uploaded today. I have tried automatically and manually uploading it. The classic sociable comes up on it’s own, even if I never touch the ‘sociable options’ section and stick to the skyscraper. What is even more odd is that I have uninstalled it, manually installed it again, and somehow it activated again with memory of my previous settings.
No matter how I go about it, I cannot get skyscraper to work.
I forgot to add that in WP’s Reading settings I have ‘front page displays’ ‘your latest posts’ selected. I have no idea if this matters, but w hen I try to search for the themes default home page under ‘static page’ dropdown list, I don’t see any indication of it.
