  • I did some rework on my server and noticed the same thing. Went to http://trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-admin/js?rev=7975 and redid what my previous post said and now the problems disappeared again.

I wonder what other problems could be fixed by going to this trunk. Please note I did download and use the the SVN 2.5.1 tag upgrades first with the problem still happening.

Moshu, let me get this right. You can’t add something to the htaccess to allow wordpress or the server to reroute itself from index.php to wp.php?

How about using a text replacement tool and hack all the wordpress files to rename index.php to wp.php and then rename index.php to wp.php?

This should be a standard feature in the settings/reading options.

Many people have other application that they want to incorporate into their site with site along with wordpress.

I fixed this issue outside wordpress through my default document settings in my server control panel. But, an option in settings would be great.

Gentlemen, I too was having the problems mentioned here. After Googleing and being frustrated, I came across the link to the SVN and downloaded post.js and that solved the problem.

Please note I used the latest version of Safari in different modes to pinpoint the problem and also to view my site as the other browsers do.

I downloaded the new post.js from http://trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-admin/js?rev=7975 and all my problems went away. Feedwordpress and all my other plugins work fine. note:I download in plain text for some reason raw didnt work.

Not sure if it was corrupt or what but the post.js from the main zip file was larger than the new download post.js.
