Got it to work.
1. Enter Google API key for Google Fonts. Follow instructions on https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-get-a-google-api-key?replies=6
2. Go to Settings/Google Fonts
-Click “Create a New Font Control”
-Name it “Home Headline”
-Click “Save Font Control”
-Under Add CSS Selector type “.home-headline” (without the quotation marks)
-Click “Save Font Control”
-Repeat for each “span class” on your page.
-Go to your homepage and click Appearance/Customize
-Click Typography > Theme Typography
I am following Tyler Moore’s instructions on how to build a web site (mine is erdasa.biz) and Theme Typography won’t show up. I disabled plug-ins but it did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?
