In reply to: How to get screwed by upgrading to 3.0Hi there,
Are you using MAMP Pro?
I don’t think a Multi user WordPress can be set up on the free MAMP, you need MAMP PRO or maybe XAMPPJust a thought. I’m just starting a Multi user site myself.
Have you disabled all plugins before enabling MU?

In reply to: [Plugin: Portfolio Slideshow] modifying the cssThanks Dalton that would be fine. A way to disable/enable the slideshow-info (counter) would be good too.

In reply to: [Plugin: Portfolio Slideshow] modifying the cssI was going to ask about that. I wanted to place the controls underneath the slideshow however and that proved very difficult without adding a huge margin-top value to force them down. This seems a bit of a bodge job though. The php is a little complex around the controls/slideshow area of the script, i tried to switch the code around but no luck.
This plugin is the only no-fuss one of it’s kind i have found so far and i hope you continue to develop it.

In reply to: [Plugin: Custom Field Template] more tags not workingAHA! found out that WordPress doesn’t normally allow “Read More…” tags in pages. I had to add some extra code to the loop

In reply to: Plugin: Custom Field Template FORMAT #1Hello,
If this topic is resolved, what is the answer?
I’m having issues with Custom Field Template wiping out the “more tag” on posts.

In reply to: [Plugin: Alkivia Open Community] Titlebar shows “Gallery 0” instead of userThanks again to the developer for the apparent lack of interest in this issue and indeed any questions i ask about the “Open Community” plugin. I’m regretting ever going forward with this as a solution now.
The above problem seems to be a conflict with NextGen gallery and specifically with the
$gallery_titlevariable which it shares. When i disabled NextGen the title stopped being ‘word salad’ but i’m sure the OC galleries used to show the user’s name in the title bar.I’d add it to the Alkivia bug tracker but the server seems to be down.

In reply to: Request: Custom fields for categoriesjeanfayette,
Headspace isn’t working for me, nice to have a custom field in the category editor but alas the template code just isn’t calling the custom value. I followed the instructions!I’m investigating the “category fields” plugin on this page:
So far so good….
Request: Custom fields for categories (26 posts)
The plugin works on wp 2.9.2 and especially with Sonika’s update to activate TinyMCE WP 2.8 and above.Hi Eric,
I’ve tried various ways of implementing the above code but being a novice php hack i’m starting to despair. Can you state where in the template it should go? (functions.php or a page template) and how i could echo the value as a css style for example?
If i could get this to do anything it would be a really useful plugin.I’m using WordPress 2.9.2 so that might be the cause of any problems?
