It works now. After starting the job I see a white screen. Clicking on the back button in the browser then brings me to the job overview with the running job information. Backups get created. Thank you.

Unfortunately no backup error log is created. I’ve tried now the setting in wp-config.php

define( ‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

However, no success. I still see the error message, that the job didn’t respond for 10 seconds.

I’ve read the mentioned troubleshooting page. However there isn’t mentioned anything about the case I have here:
