In reply to: [10WebSocial] New update seems to be doing some page “blocking”@zhannak Is anyone going to address this issue or should I change plugins for all sites using this?

In reply to: [10WebSocial] New update seems to be doing some page “blocking”I see new updates being released and yet this is still an issue and being ignored.

In reply to: [10WebSocial] New update seems to be doing some page “blocking”Just looking at the network requests it appears TWO requests are sent for each image loaded in the gallery; that doesn’t seem to be a very resourceful way to do it.
I have only got 6 images loaded in this particular gallery, so I can imagine what it would be like for larger galleries.

In reply to: [10WebSocial] New update seems to be doing some page “blocking”it seems 1.4.2 is hogging resources when it loads, leading to browser freezing.
Yep, definitely sounds like the case.

In reply to: [WP-Paginate] Disabling the ellipsesWhy is it so hard to fix this?
To me it seems that putting in a simple checkbox in admin to disable the ellipses would be pretty simple.
All you have to do is change this line:
$ellipsis = "<li><span class='gap'>...</span></li>";to…
$ellipsis = "";Not sure why this is such a hard request. Every single time the plugin is updated I have to manually make this change.
Fortunately I only have it installed on one site at this stage, but I likely wouldn’t install it on any others because of this.

In reply to: [10WebSocial] New update seems to be doing some page “blocking”Can someone please advise?
I also noticed not only does the cursor “get stuck”, users are also unable to “click” things, if they do it does not work.
Going to have to go to an alternative plugin for this site too if this isn’t fixed soon.
Thank You!

In reply to: [10WebSocial] Instagram API endpoint retired – feed gone@mdelange24 Updated and re-authenticated (again), feed is back, hopefully for good this time.
Still takes a long time to come up though.

In reply to: [10WebSocial] Instagram API endpoint retired – feed gone@zyperdk no problems, glad I could help 🙂
@mdelange24 Now that you mention it I just checked my feed and I see the same thing. Even before that, when it was working, I noticed it was very slow to come up…. page loaded fast, but the actual feed took a few seconds to show anything.

In reply to: [10WebSocial] Instagram API endpoint retired – feed gone@zyperdk Did you re-authenticate?
Whilst I did change plugins on another site where the gallery was a big feature, I kept this plugin on another site where the gallery isn’t so important.
In saying that I updated to the new one and got the same message, I can’t remember if I got rid of it by re-authenticating or by re-saving my feed settings. I know I had to re-save the feed settings to fix a problem, just can’t remember if it was this problem.
Thanks very much for the prompt response and fix.
Works great now.
Thank you!! 🙂

In reply to: [10WebSocial] Instagram API endpoint retired – feed goneFor those who switched to a new plugin I assume you had to re-authenticate the instagram account(s) ? Or you could copy / paste the tokens from the authenticated accounts in 10Web Social Photo Feed ?
Had to reauth, but because it’s going to be using a new API interface pretty sure you will have to reauth if you stay with this plugin anyway.
