One more query, I am trying to test my banner image using the instructions I found here.
I logged into wordpress.org and tried the following url to test my banner:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/guidepress/?banner_url=http://i.imgur.com/uXlle.pngHowever it doesn’t seem to work. Is it because this will only work after the plugin gets approved?

The thing that worries me a little is that I didn’t get any kind of auto-confim email saying that my submission has been logged and awaiting approval. I checked my spam folder but didn’t find anything.
I guess I am just a little impatient.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will give it a try. However, I think it is still a design flaw with having this “Hide Site Wide” in the admin.
