In reply to: index.php suddenly not loadingPicking up this thread —
My index.php suddenly won’t come up. I tried overwriting it with the default index.php that came with my WP installation, and that restored the page for a while, but then it went down again. And now overwriting it with that original file won’t even bring it back. It’s just down — or rather, blank.
In the title of the window I get “http://www.senorcafe.com/index.php” rather than the blog title. The window itself remains blank.
Any suggestions, please?

In reply to: Removing or editing usersA curious update to this thread:
when importing into WP 1.2.2 from MovableType, I tried to name the admin the same as another author (i.e. wanted to make that author the admin) — my result is that every author has been given the posts of the next author up. For example, all the posts originally authored by Geoffrey Coffey now are “by David Bailey,” while all Bailey’s posts are “by Andy Griffin” and Griffin’s posts are “by Tony Poer” … you see the problem?
To edit these user names (so that the appropriate posts are given back to the correct authors), do I need to go into the database to do it? Sorry, MySQL is still new and scary for me…
