In reply to: database error after brinkster upgrade (i think)i have contacted them and the werent much help. i made regular backups of my database using the plug in (wp_db_backup), could this be used to restore my log??

i had my tune-up plug in de-activated and got 3 errors for invalid xhtml, and my site was doing funky things that just made no sense at all.
i realized i had de-activated it and so re-activated it. . .
everyting was fine and my page validated

In reply to: Brinkster updated their mysql server and I have an error.i asked live support and someone told me “within the next few weeks” is when the servers would be upgraded. great timing for me, a huntington beach blog useless for fourth of july.
i might be time to find a more caring host, maybe even with a c panel. good luck to everyone having the same problem with brinkster…Forum: Everything else WordPress

get it done.
“Hello,I spoke to an admnistrator so that I could provide you with an exact date that the updates would be done to the server. The moment they are not fully sure of when because it is dependent on the IT networkers. In other words it might take longer then a week to update the servers. Once the servers are updated you will be notified by email. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
