Hi Marko,
I think I’ve basically resolved the issue.
When I open a variable product, go to Product data → Facebook, and enter the correct brand in the Brand field, it does get saved successfully.
There is still a small bug though: immediately after clicking Update, the Brand field appears to be cleared and the default placeholder with the site name is shown again. However, if I reopen the same product and wait around 10–15 seconds for everything to load, the correct brand is actually there and is displayed properly in the Facebook tab.
So although it initially looks like the brand wasn’t saved, it actually was. The correct brand is also successfully picked up by the Facebook catalogue, so functionally everything seems to be working fine now. 🙂
It’s possible that this visual/loading issue is caused by some interaction between the WoodMart theme, WP Rocket, and the plugin, but I can’t say for sure.
In any case, the important thing is that the brand is being saved correctly and synced to the catalogue, so from my side the issue is basically resolved.
Thanks a lot for your help with this!

DejanZdravo Marko,
Just to clarify exactly what happens:
I open Edit for a variable product → go to Product data → Facebook → find the Brand field → enter the correct brand name → click Update to save the product.
Then, when I go back to Product data → Facebook, the brand name I entered is gone, and the field is back to showing the site/store name as the default placeholder.
This happens specifically with variable products.

DejanHi Marko,
Thanks for looking into this.
I set the brand manually in the Brand field under Product data → Facebook tab.
However, there is another issue that may be related: when I enter the correct brand there and click Update on the product, the field does not retain the value I entered. It reverts to the default placeholder, which contains my website/store name.
This happens only with variable products.
I have also properly added and assigned all brands under Products → Brands, but Meta for WooCommerce doesn’t seem to pick up the brand from there for the variations either.
I’m using the latest versions:
- WooCommerce: 11.0.1
- Meta for WooCommerce: 3.7.6
- WordPress: 7.0.4
Please let me know if you need a screenshot of the product edit screen or any additional information to troubleshoot this.
Thanks again!
Best,
Dejan
