I solved it. When I changed themes, I saw how on the pages you can untick the comment box to remove.

Didn’t work. My site isn’t being hosted on WordPress.com would that make a difference?

Bare with me I’m a WordPress Idiot.
Are you saying go into the short-code code and change the CSS class as stated?
and that this is inside my theme? Wouldn’t this problem be the same regardless of the theme? Since it will be the same short code plugin?
