Unfortunately.. HostGator says to talk to GoDaddy, who says to talk to HostGator, who says to talk to GoDaddy, who says to talk to my web builder.. lol.. its been a fun circle.
From what i am seeing in my uneducated novice views delving into forums.. it seems as though the proper databases were never built in MySQL. Down side is, everything I am seeing says “Go build a new database”.. as if I am supposed to know how to do that lol.
Mr. Stern, what would I be looking for, file name wise?
I have uninstalled WordPress from the hostgator site.. I have all the files backed up on my pc, and the original files are still in the cpanel file explorer on hostgator. I figured maybe a fresh install of wordpress, clicking a setting i didnt originally click, might fix it.. wp was not installed when all the files were dumped on. I installed it myself yesterday.. thats why I realied it wasnt picking up the previous files there.
