Actually – this is down to some bad jQuery on the behalf of the theme. I’ve tidied it up so the plugin now works as expected. Apologies for raising the call.
There is some incompatability between this plugin and, in my case, the ‘Page Link Manager’ plugin.
Deactivating the latter allows me to drag and drop the Sociable ordering no problem.
