let me clarify
#1.) I’m running on MAC OS X 10.8.4 – Mountain Lion.
#2.) My dad and I don’t live at the same place. We’re 35 miles apart. so yes, we do need the internet lol to communicate with each other’s computers.
I have a fixed IP, but I don’t know how to do this on a MAC. Also using a Linksys E-3200 router, comcast hi-speed internet.
