In reply to: [Magazine Basic] Header Image Option Not There in Child ThemeI meant the login bar that used to show up BEFORE you logged in (so before the WordPress admin bar is activated). I didn’t know if this is another problem unique to me and my header issues or not. When I go to my main site and am not logged in to WP, there is no login link like there was on previous versions (and is on other themes). I have to go the the /wp-admin URL in order to log in instead of there just being a link in my site’s header…

I’ve deactivated that because their upgrade did something weird… Tried the child theme again since I deactivated and it still isn’t showing a header option under appearance. Crazy, huh?

There is no Header link under the Appearance panel when it’s activated either. I really did check every option before asking for help 😉

1. The links to the graphics in my previous post work perfectly when I click on them in my post above.
2. My mistake on the wp-admin folder comment.
3. I am using the exact same style.css info as you indicated above, and I still do not get the “Header image” option in my Child Theme admin. In fact, because I uncheck the boxes in Site Title & Tagline, there is no header at all — the menu is right at the top of the screen. (If only you could see my graphics at the links I provided…)Very strange…not sure what else to do at this point…

In reply to: [Magazine Basic] Header Image Option Not There in Child ThemeIn the Magazine Basic theme dashboard, a Header admin page shows up on the Appearance panel. But it does not show up when I switch to the Child Theme. I see there is a custom-header.php file in the Magazine Basic theme wp-admin folder. Does that answer your question? Here are screenshots:
