I also recommend using the SimplePie plugin — it is especially good if you are using the RSS from another site and want simple controls. I’ve had a hard time getting other plugins to work, but SimplePie is working so far.
Fixed the problem! Thanks to the gang at that other post! It took a little while for iTunes to update. Once it did, though, I was golden.

It got me on a good path. I did find, though, that my rss2.php file had almost no code in it. Surprise! It wasn’t until I went to wp-includes>feed-rss2.php that I found a file similar to what they were describing. I just edited the file and will keep you posted as to whether or not this works!
