In reply to: Having a single picture and a gallery in the same postNothing shows up in the Media Library. It says 265 by Images but there are no pictures to select. I clicked on add new media and uploaded a picture and then said save changes. The number of images went up by one but I can’t see it in the media area.

In reply to: New Movie Review websiteThe site layout and such looked good. I didn’t care for the dark brown background with the lighter brown text – it was hard to read the text.

In reply to: AMPLIFIEDI like the big pictures. I didn’t care for the text being all the way over to the left – I think you should have some margin there. I also had to scroll over to the right to see all the text which I didn’t care for – but both these things might just be my settings.

In reply to: Feedback Requested PleaseI agree with JonDuffy – it looks too cluttered. The light brown text below the white title is hard to read – may want to use a darker font.

In reply to: How do you edit links on the header?Under Settings in the Reading section you can select “For each article in a feed show” and select summary. I think that is how I did it.

In reply to: pictures not showingI have a similar issue. When I go view my site from the admin login I see all my pictures. But when I view the site from the address I have just the box with the red X. I moved my site from one server to another. What would I do to get the links back?

But after many days and hours – I finally transferred my database to my new server!!! Now to get my URL pointing to the right server – but I have done that before!!!

In reply to: Imported wordpress not completeI tried the instructions above given by t-p and when I import the database into my new server I get the error below. I have checked the password. Can someone please do a screen sharing session and help me?
MySQL said: Documentation
#1044 – Access denied for user ‘scottsvw’@’localhost’ to database ‘wordpress’And of course just like the instruction said my OLD wordpress site won’t work.
I am so frustrated!

In reply to: Imported wordpress not completet-p,
I read through that before I did my export and import but I didn’t feel comfortable doing it. I was looking at the one that says if you don’t care if the old blog works. I was unclear about how to find some of the config file stuff.
Step 1 – I think I know my DB name and DB user. Not total sure about the DB password and host name. Why do you change the config file on the OLD files stuff or do I make the copy and then change the config on the old one that is still working?
Step 2 – I know the URL to point it to the new site.
I hate to sound pathetic – but I would really like someone walk me through it – is this possible – I know it possible but is it safe?
