Update: After i edited the home pages value: template to default rather than Home Page it removed the bad code, possible issue with the sites generated templates.

Update: Disabling plugins does nothing to the home page problem so its not a issue with the plugins its some kind of display issue that i cant now access probebly because of the update, origionally i was able to edit the values on the PAGES>HOME under a text box section but after update that disappeared.

Are there any admins around to deal with this or is wordpress just users helping users?

they are displaying dispite not being listed in the widgets section, i think the section SHOULD be Home page SEO content or under the featured page widget but its just not there.

I spent years leaning html, php, java, flash c++, Visual basics and python, WP wasnt on my top ten list of things to learn 😛 if im going to be doing more of these though i’ll have to read up a bit, any good tutorials, im very computer literate but not used to using gui’s over pure code 🙁

Yeah managed to patch work it back the shop owner wants to use the wp blog together mostly just a configuration thing thats bugging me atm.

This is a code snippet from my home page that displays the faulty code thats the SERVICES, CALLBACK, TESTIMONIAL info section obviously i would normally just cut the code out or rewrite it but i cant find the code in my ftp files i tried looking through all the option menus for pages, plugins, widgets ect ect ect and there is no reference to it, if i disable the ADVANCED CUSTOM FIELDS plugin it wipes out the faulty display along with most fo the site footer but doesnt remove the services part of the faulty line.

Any idea where the home pages pure code is located so i can rip it out with expression?
repair isnt that big a deal i can redesign i just need to get this off the page so i can set it up, if you know where this sneaky little snippet is hiding in the wordpress option menu gui that would be helpful also as its buggin me 😛

I asked the shop owner and he said that he hasnt touched it since some indian lad set it up for him I tried to restore the pages after update to earlier page version and had no effect, probebly because the editable region for that section of the site was wiped out by differnce in the updates editor?

repulisve? I’ve spent the last 5 hours trying to sought out a simple update and phone number edit for a website that I could recode on expression in less than a day, me being sick of this is hardly repulsive, its a psycological fact.

To anyone that can help.
I can rename the plugins folder or just disable them from the gui option in wordpress which i thinks easier PLUGINS>INSTALLED PLUGINS click the deactivate box, but that doesnt effect anything the website was last updated in 2012 so i expect doing the updates wiped out the display settings or deleted the settings to display them, the problem is that the home page has removed the editable functions for these areas of the home page while not removing them from the website itself.
