i didn’t expect the filter settings for auto-posting would also apply to this, i expected it only to limit the autoposted things and leave manual posts / re-posts alone. maybe some clarification in the settings could help.
for documentation / other users running into this:
the filter settings were active but empty in my case – i added the “post” type to the auto posting field again, that brought back the settings in the editor.
Some hint … in the SNAP settings, there is this section:
“Who can see auto-posting options on the “New Post” and “Edit Post” pages and make autoposts?”
I’d assume this is the right place to configure whether i can see the settings in the post pages or not.
The Option for “Administrator” is checked, and my role is in fact “Administrator”. I have tried to check all the other roles too and log in as an Author etc., but there is no change what so ever.
