Files in mu-plugins load automatically on every page, so an error in that one file is enough to bring the whole site down, including WP File Manager, since it runs inside WordPress too. The fix is just deleting the file, but it has to be done from outside WordPress.
Without cPanel or FTP, your options are:
- Your hosting account dashboard. Even if you don’t have cPanel, most hosts have their own file manager in the account area. Open wp-content/mu-plugins/ and delete cfdb-export.php.
- Reset FTP/SFTP credentials. You can usually create or reset them from the same hosting dashboard.
- Ask your host’s support. Tell them exactly which file to delete. It takes them a minute, and most will do it over live chat.
The Recovery Mode email goes to the site’s admin email address, so check that inbox and spam too. Once the file is removed, the site should load normally again.
