1and1 is rolling back the file permissions now. Step by step.
Hi Rob, in any case you should find a log file from 1and1 on your webspace. Check if there is a forensic directory withing your /logs/ folder. There you should find further infos of what 1and1 locked on your space.
1and1 already claimed that this was a false-alarm. They said, that their scanners are getting an update.

Where did i found what? I called them and they said, that I wasn’t the first user today who called in and the technical department already corrected this issue 🙂 But due to the rollout of the fix it can take up to 3 hours.
1and1 already corrected this issue with the non-hacked-wf files. They say that the files can be unlocked by the user in ~3hours (file-permissions back to 604 or anything that works) from now on..
