Thwarted by an inline style 🙂

Brilliant plugin and so customisable. Thank you again

Answer: Copied it into my main style sheet and its now reflecting changes. Still can’t get it to do what I want though 🙁

Thank you so much for responding.

I don’t need a database or any form of stock control etc.. as there are only an absolute maximum of 60 different things to buy which are very small and bought in blocks of 10 (which whittles it down to 6!).

I can’t, and don’t wish to, directly accept credit cards but do have a Paypal account.

I was worried about security. But then started thinking that the only time I need to worry about that is when customers pay and then they are in Paypal’s site.

Thanks again… it is greatly appreciated

Sorry… regarding the extension. I was using the one available for download that day

    Thanks again

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did try that but the X-Theme code was different from that shown in the article. There was a “<?php” “?>” inside the div. This confused me but I went ahead anyway.

The result was the same sadly. The cart is showing far down the page but not, as it was, in the footer.

    Thanks again

Thank you so much for your help. I have just been able to activate it. Now I know the procedure I’ll ensure it won’t happen again 🙂

    Once again my many thanks

    Thanks Paul,

I think WinSCP may be very damaging to my system… an iMac 🙂

I use Transmit. At the moment I am using the system on Localhost on my iMac just to learn what it is I am doing with out risking the fabric of the www or my host. I was able to simply copy and paste the file into the folder.

Thanks for your help on this Paul

    Hello Wanda and Paul,

No I won’t let it put me off. I’m actually impressed at how quick the problem was identified and rectified. I have it all working now and can continue to test and, hopefully, have some fun 🙂

Wanda you will need to access the folders with the files in on the server. It only needs the one file placed into a folder. Do you have any software to FTP files to the server? If you do then it should be very straightforward.

I am new to Jigoshop and am trying to get used to it before going live.

Prior to finding this thread I had assumed it was something I had done so deleted paid for plug-ins, deleted and rebuilt database and WordPress. Still the same problem.

I have stumbled upon this thread and would also like to know how things are progressing with the update.

    Many thanks

    G
