@frankiebateman I had a similar issue. I’m a web design and editor noob… I changed my URL and WordPress URL without taking all of the appropriate steps. I was locked out of my /wp-login.php I contacted a third party WPsupport and gave them my hosting info to help out. They shot me a screen shot of homepage that was about 6 months old. Said it would take about 3-4 hours. I did not pay them… But felt it was fishy. My hosting password changed. So I immediately changed every password and contacted the hosting company to change my password again. I went to /wp-login.php and used my username and password. Didn’t work. Sent for a new password, and never received an email. After several days of wait for replies and now several hours today… The only backups on my hosting site… are from 2016. Not sure how all of my updates leading up to about a week ago disappeared. Both my old website and new website are up… But all the content is gone. it has to be somewhere right?
