Unfortunately, I have the same experience as Wafwaf. The loading speed after update of plugin increased a lot, but Huge IT Slider I use on the page was corrupted (from original slideshow remained only one static image). I’m happy to share other plugins installed or help different way if needed.

I experienced the same issue hour ago (WP version 4.0.1). All you need to do to undone the problem is edit .htaccess file placed on your hosting server and remove section between #WP Performance Score Booster tags. Then save the .htaccess again and both the page and WP should be ok.
