I’m wondering if it is indeed the From email. When I bailed on the WP Form and activated Contact 7 form, in the FROM field when I type in personalname@yahoo.com it says “Sender email address does not belong to the site domain” with a red exclamation point.
So when I type in the personal name@website that blurb goes away.
When I go back to WP MAIL SMTP to change the From email to the name@website and use the yahoo small business SMTP: smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
and use the app password for the password, and then run the test it says it connects to the smtp but can’t authenticate the email/password.
I even changed the setting in yahoo to “Allow apps that use less secure sign in” and still get the “can’t authenticate email/password”.
I don’t know if that sheds light on anything or not?
