This means the following:

– I start a new article by clicking on “new post”.
– I copy the headline (title)…
– I copy the body…
– The posting date may have to be adjusted…
– A custom attribute “source” needs to be set…
– Categorization and tagging…

This may take a couple of minutes. During that time, the draft may get saved more than once.

When I finally post the article, the article itself is posted properly and contains all I specified for it. However, there are also two or three articles in draft status with some intermediate contents along the process of creating the content. Deleting these drafts does not break anything.

If I deactivate the plugin, this behaviour goes away immediately.

One change was this: the tags input field used to be “Advanced Tags”. Now it is labelled “Tags (Simple Tags)”. Maybe some renaming was not carried through consistently.

Anyway, I’m back to 1.6.1 and everything is fine 🙂
