Thanks for that – I’ve already exported my files, but presumably I can only import them to my new blog if I can actually get into the wordpress install? The whole problem is that when I go to the page where I’ve installed wordpress.org, it takes me to wordpress.com, so I can’t import the files as I can’t get in!

Any idea?

I post again the issue with new facts.

Previously, I used to use the platinum seo plugin and then I realised that I have duplicate meta tags. One from the plugin and one manual. I deleted the manual, deactivated the plugin and finally installed the yoast seo. The fact is that whenever I search for my website’s posts in google, there are only old ones and not the new. In addition, the homepage titles displays a irrelevant category, whereas the description only the link. The fact is that googlebot crawled my website 13 hours ago and nothing changed. What seems to be the issue?

I deactivated the plugin and wrote again the meta name and description. How long whould I wait for google to reindex the site?

If it doesn’t work, do you have other solution?

OK, I fixed the home page issue and I left only the seo plugin options. Do you think the messages page is a serious issue?

When I type “alienage.gr”, google results display my website with wrong title and description.

I use Quick Cache as a cache plugin. When I clear it and immediately try to add a new post, everything is fine.

Finally, I solved it! There wasn’t any problem with the code, but the plugin “JW Player”…
