Joshua, I got it figured out!!! I changed a bunch of html, and I don’t know (or care) why, I am just so happy it is working!!!!! And it still looks good on the local host so I am gonna call it a day!! Crossing my fingers that something doesn’t make it go wonky again. I deleted sidebars, I re-added sidebars, I renamed sidebars, I added code, I deleted code…just so happy it is working! I still don’t know why the divs got moved, but I can’t take any more time on it, I have to move on. thanks fo rthe offer to help!

Hi, thanks for the offer to help! I used the All In One plugin to do the migration. Yes, I built this theme from scratch. I took a web development certificate course in 2015 and one of the modules was wordpress.org. Someone I know was having issues with their site and after researching it, I found out that the WP platform could handle what he wanted, so I cracked open the workbook and started coding. Then he jumped ship and my work sat idle for a year until it was resurrected by the other 2 authors on the original site. That is why it never went live before.

Looking at the index.php code, I thought I had one of the php get_sidebar lines wrong (I still think I might) so I tried something new, which is on the live site now (you can see a skinny bar to the right on the page) but it messed up the local site and still did not fix the fact that the divs are not where they should be.. I hope this makes sense.

A jpg of the entire page as it should be is here: https://pasteboard.co/7lbqqc9b.jpg

You can close it out, but it never got resolved with the Ninja form. Both of the things I wanted to do – use your button on the success page and use a custom footer on the form page – did not work. Unfortunately I had to remove the button altogether and stick to the main footer used on the site. But I will use your plug-in on other sites because I like how easy it is to use, and your attention to support is excellent!
    Thank you,
    Gail

Bas, Thank you for your quick reply! I tried it on a blank page, and it displays correctly. I have asked the forms support if they can help with it and will let you know what they reply.

No, it’s my code. I just found out it is happening on another page too. I recently made a change to the category pages, so I think it is something with archives and/or categories, since they all worked before. I’ll need to retrace my steps and figure this out. I am so sorry to have wasted your time. I will mark as resolved, since it no longer applies to the Power Press plug in. Thank you for trying to help!

Just podcasts. I was using Seriously Simple Podcasting, and it sorted the podcasts with no issue. I wanted to display the most current podcast on the home page. I found Featured Podcast Widget which only works with Blubrry Power Press so I changed podcast plugins. Then I had the issue.

I am building my own theme from a previously static site (html). I just switched it to twentyfifteen to see what happens, and the podcast pages were displaying all posts, as it should. So I guess there is something somewhere in my code that needs to be adjusted. It’s odd because it worked with the other plugin, but not this one.

Yes, each subsequent page – /page/2/, /page/3/, page/4/… all show the same exact podcasts as are shown on the first page instead of going down the list in reverse chronological order.

Mark, I hope you get your issue figured out. I fixed my problem by going to my htdocs folder, to the theme that was not loading, to wp-content, to plugins and I trashed the plugin folder that caused me to lose access to my site. Then my site loaded, and I was able to get to the admin page and log in!

I am having the same issue. Everything was working fine, then my Dashboard showed a plugin needed updating. I clicked update, and then when I tried to go to the site, I got the error- “The localhost page isn’t working
localhost is currently unable to handle this request.
    500″
Now I can’t log in to my Admin and I can’t get to any of the pages. One minute it was working, the next it isn’t and I have no idea how to get back to my Dashboard. My other WP sites on the local drive are fine. I hope someone can help too.
