No reason at all, just user successfully logged in and then logged out automatically a milisecond later. No error message in the traffic inspector
User is able to login at wp-login.php and social login, but not with the theme’s login form (there’s an error message saying the username and password is not correct)
Only happens with plugin version 8.8+, this does not happen with plugin version 8.7 and below

Hi Gregory,
1. User can’t login using custom login form on my website, they put in the correct username and password but they get the error message “invalid username and password”
2. In the activity log it just shows the user successfully logged in and logged out a second later
3. Downgrading to 8.7 fixes the above issue, not sure what in 8.8 and beyond causes this issue

I used WP Rollback plugin, you can rollback to a previous version using that
